Boycott:
Le Meridien San Francisco
Hyatt Fisherman's Wharf
LABOR DISPUTES OFTEN MEAN REGULAR PICKET LINES, LEAFLETING, RALLIES AND OTHER ACTIONS AT AFFECTED HOTELS. .
Workers have called for a boycott of the Le Meridien San Francisco and Hyatt Fisherman’s Wharf hotels because their employer is denying them the fair process to choose a union that is standard in San Francisco. These hotels are owned by Chesapeake Lodging Trust, and they are the only two hotels in San Francisco that continue to fight their own workers. In February of 2009, the dispute escalated when the workers called for a consumer boycott of their hotels.
